How Revenue Works

Revenue Flow

  1. Worth Collects: We collect revenue from distributors and labels
  2. Worth Reconciles: We match payments to songs and ownership
  3. Automatic Distribution: Revenue is distributed based on ownership percentages
  4. Your Balance Updates: Your organization's balance increases
  5. You Withdraw: Request a withdrawal when ready

Multi-Party Songs

If a song has multiple rights holders, revenue is automatically split based on the registered ownership percentages. Each organization receives their share directly to their balance.

Revenue Timing

Revenue timing depends on when distributors pay Worth:

  • Most streaming services pay monthly
  • Publishers may pay quarterly
  • There's typically a 30-90 day delay from when royalties are earned to when they're paid
